Hello Diary handles patient names, contact details and appointments. Here is exactly how we look after them.
Data stays in the UK
Our application runs on AWS in London (eu-west-2) and our database on PlanetScale Postgres in the same region.
Encrypted throughout
Every connection uses TLS. Sensitive fields, such as Dentally and ad-platform credentials, are encrypted again inside the database.
No card data with us
Payments go through Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers, and each practice connects its own Stripe account.
Secure sign-in
Team sign-in is handled by WorkOS, with two-factor authentication. Each person only sees the clinics they've been added to.
Consent built in
Follow-up and gap-filling messages only go to patients who agreed to hear from you, and every message carries an opt-out.
Least access to Dentally
We use Dentally's API for availability and bookings only, and you can disconnect at any time.
Data processing agreement
You are the data controller for your patients; Hello Diary is your processor. We sign a data processing agreement with every practice and publish our sub-processors. Ask for a copy at hello@hellodiary.co.uk.
